Quiet Place 3 Will Release in 2022

A Quiet Place spinoff film in the underworld and is planned for a release date in 2022. A Quiet Place is a post-apocalyptic science fiction horror movie directed by John Krasinski. Krasinski also starred in the film alongside Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, and Millicent Simmonds. The film has received many awards nominations, including the Producers Guild of America Award for Best Theatrical Motion Picture, Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Blunt’s brilliant performance, and Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay.

2018 A Quiet Place was also nominated for Academy Award for Best Sound Editing and BAFTA Award for Best Sound. The film collected over a gross of $340.9 million against a budget of $17-21 million.

The movie revolves around the Earth’s animals and humans wiped by extraterrestrial creatures. The creatures have great hearing power and attack anything that makes noise. The Abbott family is living in a deserted town. The family communicates in sign language and goes barefoot out in the open.

The second sequel of the movie, A Quiet Place Part II, was planned to release in the past spring. However, due to the COVID-19, the second sequel’s release date is postponed for the April 2021 release. The pandemic crisis did not slow down the team production work, and they are working to develop some more installments.

Krasinski has some great ideas in his mind regarding the third sequel of the franchise, A Quiet Place 3. And the team is planning to expand the A Quiet Place franchise spinoff movie. In an interview with Deadline, Jeff Nichols shared that he is hired to direct and write a new movie for this franchise. The team has also revealed that the sequel’s release date will be 2022; the date and month have not yet been shared.

However, the team has not spoken anything about the plot, but it is known it will stick to the “original idea.”

Krasinski suggested that the second installment of the film A Quiet Place Part II would focus on other survivors struggling with the post-apocalyptic world. Although that does not seem happening as Emily Blunt will be featuring in her role Evelyn Abbott.

After this pandemic, the studios will desperately try to recover the loss during this period. And the new installment of the pre-existing property sounds like a safe game. And according to the previous collection, it is pretty certain the franchise will do well at the box office.

The project will also be a big-budget movie for writer Nichols. The screenwriter is known for small dramas like Midnight Special and Mud. He has studied filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Nichols’ Mud starred Matthew McConaughey competed for Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. So it will be interesting to see what he can make out of the already popular A Quiet Place franchise. Krasinski is very passionate about the franchise, and Nichols’ involvement will surely help the universe grow. They both have a sensibility about what does and does not work in a horror series.

Hopefully, the duo of two talented writers and directors will create something compelling about it.
