  • Tap on the big red circled record button that is placed at the top of your device screen. Once you tap on the recording button, it will start to record your voice.
  • To look for more options, tap on the small grey horizontal line that is positioned at the centre of your screen. Under the current screen, you can pause and play the recordings whenever you want.
  • To stop the recording, tap on the red circled button placed at the top of your window.

  • Launch the Voice Memo app on your device and select the recording that you want to edit.
  • After choosing the recorded file, tap on it and then tap on Ellipsis.
  • Tap on the option of “Edit Recording”.
  • Drag your finger to the left or right direction on the timeline to edit any specific part of your recording.
  • If you want to crop your record, tap on the icon of “Crop”, and select the recording that you want to crop via a mini timeline that is placed at the top of your screen.
  • Lastly, tap on the icon of “Trim” to cut the section of the audio that you want and save the modified part of the audio by tapping on the option of “Save”.
  • After finishing with editing your audio, tap on “Done” to confirm the process.

To delete any of your audio recordings, tap on the file to play it and then tap on the “Trash” icon that is placed next to the record.

Steps to Send the Recorded Voice Memos on Any iDevices

  • To post your recorded voice memos to any apps or services, tap on the Voice Memo app to open it.
  • Select the file that you want to send.

  • Select the person with whom you want to share your voice recorded data and tap on it to send. This way, your recorded file will be shared with the people whom you have selected. 
  • For backing up your Voice Memo recording, open any cloud storage services like Dropbox, and scroll down through your screen and save your record there.
