You Would Not Want to Miss These Reunions of the Cast of Your Favorite TV Shows and Movies

The outbreak of pandemic has put a brake on the entertainment industry. There was no shooting of many shows and movies going on and fans were re-watching their old favorite shows. While the fans were re-watching their favorite shows, their favorite stars were also planning some new and genuine entertainment for them. During this pandemic, there have been reunions of the cast of the popular shows on video conferencing apps, where faces have grown older but the spark and friendships are the same. In this article, we are going to look at the reunions which were filmed during quarantine in 2020 and were streamed live for the fans.

In these virtual reunions, you could see your favorite stars who have grown older, struggling to set up the video conferencing apps. There were jokes about older days, the joy of recognizing a face that popped up on the screen, and also some glimpses into the lives of these stars. There were also constant references for fans to stay inside the home, while these stars were trying to spread some positivity with such reunions among their fans. Let’s look at some of the best cast reunions filmed during the quarantine.

Community

This popular American Sitcom started streaming in 2009 and was created by Dan Harmon. The reunion of the cast of this popular sitcom took place over the Zoom app where the entire cast came together to read “Cooperative Polygraphy” from season 5, and it turned out that reading these episodes on Zoom was as funny as their streaming on TV. This reunion was organized for charity purposes and was also joined by David Glover.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

The cast of this popular comedy movie which was released in 1986, also gathered on Zoom to give a treat to their fans. This reunion was hosted by Josh Gad and joined by Ben Stein, Matthew Broderick along with Alan Ruck. Jake Gyllenhaal also dropped his quick appearances. The cast shared their stories from the set during the movie and their experiences of working with John Hughes as emerging actors. Different stars from the movie read the famous lines of John Hughes and not to mention, they all looked older.

Frasier

This American sitcom from the 90s was a massive hit that featured Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin, Dan Butler as well as Bebe Neuwirth. These actors again came together on the Zoom app to raise money for The Actor’s Fund. These actors shared their old experiences from the sets. Grammar shared an incident about getting cast in Cheers. During the reunion, Pierce also performed a ridiculous song on Caroline in the City.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

The cast of this another sitcom from the 90s was also seen in a reunion during the quarantine. Will Smith organized a reunion for the cast of the show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, that featured Tatyana Ali, Alfonso Ribeiro, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Daphne Maxwell Reid. Along with sharing the stories from the set with the fans, actors also paid a tribute to late James Avery.

Friday Night Lights

The cast of this popular TV series organized a reunion to raise money for the World Health Organization. Most popular stars from the show did not appear in the reunion and also this reunion was not packed with famous stars unlike other reunions, but it was still fun to watch Adrianne Palicki (Tyra Collette), Scott Porter (Jason Street), Derek Phillips (Billy Riggins), Aimee Teegarden (Julie Taylor), and Gaius Charles (Smash Williams) gathering for a cause. We might see all the stars coming together in the next editions.

Along with the reunions mentioned on our list, there were also cast reunions from the shows and movies like Happy Endings, High School Musical, Lizzie McGuire, The Lord of the Rings, The Parent Trap, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, That Thing You Do!, and X-Men.

You can find videos of these reunions filmed during quarantine on different video streaming platforms. You are going to live your old days along with these stars, and not to wonder, they might also leave you in nostalgia.
