After a slump in the ratings, the third round of The Apprentice started to pick up its pace. The reason for the comeback was one of the series’ most iconic moments that happened in the second episode.

It started with Posh boy Rory Laing, who was chosen to be the project manager, setting his team on edge. His uptight management style annoyed his teammate, Tre Azam. In one fiery exchange, Rory gave the world one legendary moment where he told Tre: “I AM your boss,” and Tre responded with “You’re not my boss, you’re the project manager. You’re nothing to me.”

Unsurprisingly, megalomaniac and angry Rory lost the task and was fired by Lord Sugar. But Rory’s out lash continues to impress the Apprentice fans. You can hear the Americans quoting, “I am your boss” even after a decade of this episode.

The Birthday Party task

In the 10th series, candidates were asked to hold a children’s party for profits. This might sound like a piece of cake, but that’s not how it went on the show. The primary task of the contestants was to convince the parents to shell out their pockets to celebrate their kid’s special day. As the episode proceeds, David Stevenson messed up badly with his tacky Happy Birthday t-shirts which were disliked by everyone.

The ‘Happy Birthday’ message printed in a mirror effect, and the poor-quality transfers were not sticking to the shirts at all. Watching this horror, parents pulled back their investment, leaving the team £175 in the red.

The opposing team also failed to impress the parents. They bought a cake with traces of nuts to a party, where the kid’s mother was extremely allergic to nuts. It prevented her from missing out on great moments.

Solomon Akhtar’s Interview

This majorly eye-grabbing scene is from the 10th series of The Apprentice, where a contestant named Solomon Akhtar failed to watch any series of the show. So, when he had to present a viable business plan to Lord Sugar, Karren Brady, and Claude Littner, he messed up. All three of the interviewers were extraordinarily disappointed and mentioned that Solomon gave them ‘pictures of sales boats.’

At that point, they were furious at Solomon, and his interview was cut short. By the end of it, Solomon was petrified and shaking so badly that he couldn’t find the exit and he instead walked towards the window.

Susan Ma’s Comment on French People

In the 7th series (2011), Susan Ma was asked about the France country’s culture, to which she replied, “Do the French like their children?” This might fury the French people, but her comment at the moment made America laugh. Tenet Collected $300M At Box Office

The collection record of the most expensive Christopher Nolan movie, Tenet has come. According to the box office the film has collected around $300 million worldwide. While rescuing an exposed spy, the Russian mercenaries capture the Protagonist. They torture him and then force him to consume a cyanide pill. He wakes up and learns that the pill was a test of his loyalty. The Protagonist is then hired for the secret service named Tenet. The organization appoints him to save the human race and to do that they have a technology that can invert the entropy, which results in moving backward through time. And the screenplay then carries on from there.

According to the latest box office records shared by Warner Bros., Tenet collected $19.2M in the past weekend globally. The international box office brings a total of $242M, while it only collected $41.2M in the domestic box office. The total collection of the movie thoroughly becomes $283.2M. However, Tenet is very close to crossing $300M worldwide butter the producer will lose a considerable amount. The film requires at least $500M to break even the production cost. The team initially claimed that it needed to collect $800M to make a reasonable profit, which seems impossible according to the box office collection rate.

The Great British Baking Show: All the Seasons Ranked

Season 11 of the most beloved British baking show is up and baking! The first episode of the reality show aired on September 22, 2020, on Channel 4. The new season by Love Production will be first releasing its episodes weekly on Tuesdays after which they will be available to stream on Netflix on Fridays. The production of the Great British Bake Off (GBBO) was impacted due to the coronavirus pandemic, however, the show is back on the screens after months of speculation. The Great British Bake Off is not only loved for its cakes and puddings but also for the amateurish charm and the cordial thing the show has. However, this was not the case with episode number 4 of season 5. In this particular episode, Iain Watters trashes his melted Baked Alaska after another contestant Diana Beard removed it from the freezer. It took no time for this incident to turn into a controversial and accusation plot against Diana. No one knows what exactly happened on the show but it sure became popular as #BinGate.

8/10 – Season 2

Sometimes, it’s not the recipe, but the gossipy incidents that the viewers take with them. And the first few seasons of GBBO have been filled with wild ones. There was an incident in season 2, where contestant Rob dropped his chocolate genoise mousse cake, Paul rushed to help, and together they were able to save enough cake for the judges to taste. The judges must have loved the mousse off of the floor, right?

7/10 – Season 3

This season saw one of the most exciting uncanny personalities to date.  Contestants like Brendan, who loved to bath in his dough,  James, who had a wardrobe of hideous yet comfy sweaters, John who had an interesting ability to injure himself, and Cathryn, who unbearably lacks common sense, were the darlings of the season. Plus, who can forget the way Cathryn tossed her dough in the air only to land it on the carpeted floor. 

6/10 – Season 10

Season 10 of “Bake Off” witnessed unbeatable camaraderie among the contestants. It was touching to see how the remaining contestants used to be genuinely sad, each time after someone was eliminated. But the only reason season 10 is given sixth place is because the remaining five were just so ludicrously tasty.

5/10 – Season 4

Nothing could have made this season admirable other than the rainbow picnic pie made by Frances. She made this oh-so-yum looking and tasting (according to the judges of course) pie, which was sheer art. Frances also won the season upon her picnic pie.

4/10 – Season 7

Contestant and winner Candice is the one for whom season 7 is known for. Throughout the season she maintained her strong will and worked hard to take the biscuit. Candice raised the bar high with the gingerbread pub in the second week. Plus, who can forget Mary’s spectacular outfits on the season finale, and Mell and Sue’s effortless humor and warmth throughout.

3/10 – Season 8

Season 8 is popular for nothing more than the dazzling and illusional cake displays that the contestants kept coming out with. The stunning Victoria sandwich cake made by Steven was an unforgettable sight. Yan came out with the most realistic presentation with her cake, disguised as a bowl of noodles.

2/10 – Season 9

This season is known for its incredible storylines, emotions, and most of all, the funny bakers. Kim-Joy introduced Japanese flavors and techniques in the tent, Ruby brought the party atmosphere with his lively behavior, and Rahul who transformed from an introvert to the smiling winner at the end.

1/10 – Season 6

Started with drama and unbelievable talent, Season 6 is mostly remembered for Nadiya’s winning speech. The figure of optimism, Nadiya has since become a prominent figure in British culinary and television culture. The inspirational lady now has multiple series of her own and has won plenty of awards for her cookbooks.
